A bundle of the Level 2 Arabic and English activity books, designed for children aged 6 to 8, with a total of 38 interactive activities: 19 in Arabic and 19 in English.

It offers more advanced activities in language, maths and everyday and general-knowledge concepts, with different content in each book designed for each language.

What will your child learn from the bundle?

The bundle combines language and maths skills with a range of everyday and general-knowledge concepts suited to this stage.

In the Arabic book, children practise masculine and feminine forms, matching words to pictures, finding letters and writing, as well as addition and subtraction, number sequences and telling the time. They also learn everyday and religious concepts such as the days of the week, the Hijri months, the family tree, the pillars of Islam, wudu and the five daily prayers.

In the English book, children practise reading and writing short words, matching words to pictures and opposites, addition and missing numbers, as well as concepts such as telling the time, days of the week, months of the year, day and night, the world map, the solar system and parts of the body, and sorting devices that use electricity from those that use batteries.

Although the two books share some skills, the activities and topics are different — not a literal translation from one language to the other.

How does your child use the two books?

Each book starts with an activity personalised with the child's name in that book's language, so they can practise tracing and writing their name.

Children use the marker pen included with each book for writing and tracing activities, then wipe it clean and try again.

Some activities also include interactive cards with Velcro, alongside matching, writing and tracing activities, and hands-on elements such as movable clocks and a lacing activity.
