An interactive English activity book designed for children aged 6 to 8, with 19 varied activities that help children develop their language and maths skills and a range of general concepts through reading, writing, matching and hands-on activities.
The book starts with an activity personalised with your child's name in English, so they practise tracing and writing it from the very first page.
What will your child learn?
Activities cover language and maths skills and a range of general-knowledge concepts suited to this stage.
In language, children practise reading short words and matching them to pictures, writing simple words, matching opposites and writing numbers in words, as well as an All About Me activity where they share simple information about themselves.
In maths, they work on addition, filling in missing numbers, number matching and writing numbers in words.
They also learn concepts such as telling the time, days of the week, months of the year, day and night, parts of the body, the world map and the solar system, and sort devices that use electricity from those that use batteries.
How does your child use the book?
Children use the included marker pen for writing and tracing activities, then wipe it clean and try again.
Some matching and sorting activities also include interactive cards with Velcro, as well as a lacing activity.
